Needs and Wants defined by our nine year old podcasting cohost, Kaelyn

Hey there kids!  It’s Kaelyn here. Today I’ll be teaching you how to save for needs and wants. But first things first, what are needs and wants?  Well, a want is something that people don’t need to live like toys or candy.  A need is something people must have to live like clothes and shelter.

So how you can save for those things is put your money in envelopes or mason jars.  Separate your money into two groups.  I have two ideas on how you can separate your money. Here’s the first one:  you can separate your money into a save and spend group or you can separate your money into a need and want group.

If you want to see a video about needs and wants, here’s a YouTube video to it.  All right,  that’s the end of today’s lesson and remember that a need is waaay more important than a want.  See you next time. Bye!
